Amy has been nominated for the 2010 Paul Huf Award.
The Paul Huf Award is organized by Foam_Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam. The prize is awarded to a young, talented photographer 35 years of age or younger who has already developed a personal visual idiom and is producing work that is disctinctive in terms of content as well as formal aspects. The award is named after the influential Dutch photographer and strong supporter of young talented photographers, Paul Huf.
The Paul Huf Award consists of a cash prize of 20,000 euros, a 3 week Photographer-in-Residence program in Amsterdam and an exhibition at Foam_Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam in September 2010. Previous winners of the award are Mikhael Subotzky (South Africa) and Taryn Simon (USA) in 2007, Pieter Hugo (South Africa) in 2008 and Leonie Purchas (UK) in 2009.
100 young photographers from all parts of the world have been nominated for this year's award. Best of luck to all!
